HOOPTOBER BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
HoopTober is a 5-on-5 youth basketball tournament hosted by Silicon Valley NJB. Taking place on
October 25–26, 2025 in the
San Jose / Santa Clara area, the event is open to
boys and girls teams from 3rd–12th grade. Each team is guaranteed a
minimum of 3 games, with divisions organized to ensure a fun and competitive experience for all players.

FREE AGENTS, NOT ON A TEAM?
Free Agent teams may be formed for individual players interested in participating in the tournament depending on the number of available free agents. If there are not enough players to form free agent teams or there are no available spots on teams for free agents then their free agent registration would be canceled and refunds would be issued. Once teams are formed a team parent will be needed for each team not to coach but to make sure the team goes to their correct court when scheduled. To register as a free agent follow the free agent registration instructions in the tournament registration section.
ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
WHAT IS A 3 ON 3 TOURNAMENT?
A fun and competitive half court basketball tournament that faces 2 teams of 3 players in a fast paced style game.
WHO CAN PLAY?
Boys ages 8 -18 and Girls ages 8 -18.
Teams are made up of 3 - 5 players (3 Starters and 1-2 Substitutes). Coaches are not required for a team to participate (Just need a team parent to register your team).

WHEN AND WHERE ARE GAMES PLAYED?

5/17 + 5/18 GAMES BETWEEN 9AM - 6PM
Games will be played outdoors (unless stated otherwise). The court designation and schedule will be published the week of the tournament by Wednesday night at the latest.
