HOW TO REGISTER FOR WINTER LEAGUE

Below you will find information on how to sign up for the SVNJB Winter League

ABOUT WINTER LEAGUE

Winter League is the biggest league of the SVNJB year both in season length and number of teams.  As a result of the size, the South Bay Area and Peninsula are split into chapters.  Players register with their local chapter to play winter league.  To find you local chapter you can use the SVNJB Chapter Map.   Chapter registration usually opens between August - October depending on the chapter.  Check your local chapter website for the chapter specific dates & deadlines.

NEW PLAYER SIGNUP STEPS
New players should follow the steps below to determine which Chapter they should signup in:
 

  1. Players must play in the local Chapter boundary they live within (Find your chapter)
  2. Division League signups are on a 1st come, 1st served basis. This means that registration may close once chapters reach their participant capacity even if its before the scheduled registration deadline.  Players that register after the deadline or after capacity is met may be placed onto a waitlist.
  3. All-Net signup and player documentation – review these docs from the “Home Page” :

  4. The “Chapter Geographic Locations” gives an overview of all Chapters located in the Silicon Valley NJB Section.  Use this map as a general overview only – viewed from “Home Page”
  5. Use the “Boundary Map” to identify your local Chapter.  Players MUST play in the boundaries in which they live.  If there is no Chapter in a city where the player lives, the player MUST play in the nearest Chapter to where the player lives – viewed from “Home Page”
  6. “Zip Code and Street Assistance Map” - Use the controls top left of map to zoom in, zoom out and move directionally. viewed from “Home Page”
  7. Once the new players Chapter is identified, find that Chapter’s website located in “SVNJB Chapters” on the navigation bar 
  8. Register or send an email through the Website to your local Chapter expressing your interest for participation

 

Programs offered are:

Division Leagues - Developmental/Competitive: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th & 7th/8th Grades for both Boys & Girls
All-Net Leagues - Competitive: 4th Boys only; 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade for both Boys & Girls
* Newly created All-Net All-Star Shootout Game held at mid-Regular Season
Next Level Prep League  - Competitive: Lower (9th & 10th Grades) & Upper (Open - 9th-12th Grades) Boys
Rookie Program  - Basic skills development for Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grades (limited Chapters)
