Next Level Prep is a competitive league for High School aged boys

who are not playing for their High School team.

!WARNING: PLAYER ELIGIBILITY!

Next Level Prep is for players that ARE NOT already on their school basketball teams. Players can not play for their school basketball teams and in a recreational league or they risk disqualifying themselves and their school as stated by California Interscholastic Federation .

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS
MULTIPLE LEVELS

For the Boys High School League, there are 2 levels of play. Level 1 is the most competitive level for Boys 9th-12th grade. Level 2 is the lower competition level for only 9th-10th grade players.

LEVEL 1 - 9th to 12th (Varsity)

LEVEL 2 - 9th to 10th (JV)

HIGH SCHOOL RULES

For next Level Prep, teams play by the National Federation High School (NFHS) rules. Please read the Mercy Rule listed below as well.

SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT

At the end of the season, teams participate in a fun & exciting post season tournament. All teams are also eligible to play in the National Tournament in Southern California.

OPEN BOUNDARIES

Next Level Prep follows an open boundary registration format. Meaning players & teams can sign up with your local home chapter or the next nearest chapter that offers NLP if your home chapter does not.

Find your home chapter and register there if NLP is offered
If your home chapter does not have NLP, contact us using the form below and we can direct you on your next steps to get you in the league

If you are in high school and not on your school team, you can play NLP.
