SVNJB REFEREE REGISTRATION

registration information pertaining to you.

To become an SVNJB referee we require you to be at least 16 years of age, pay a registration fee (depending on when you register) and purchase your own uniform from our store.  If you are 18 years old or older you must pass a background check. You must also be familiar with the Safe Sport Act of 2017 . 


STEPS NEEDED TO COMPLETE TO BECOME

SVNJB REFEREE

SUBMIT SVNJB CONTRACT

Submit your SVNJB contract for the current season either online, mail, or dropoff.

REGISTER FOR SVNJB ARBITER

Register in SVNJB Arbiter (106248).  This is where you will be assigned games to officiate.

PASS BACKGROUND CHECK

Register in the National HQ (103699) Arbiter for a background check.

SUBMIT W9 & BANKING INFO

Submit your w9 and banking info to be able to receive payments either by check or direct deposit.

GO TO THE REFEREE TYPE THAT APPLIES TO YOU BELOW TO REGISTER AND SEE WHAT IS REQUIRED FROM YOU TO START OFFICIATING.

MINOR 

REFEREES

If so, please make sure to submit requirements for minor refs & review returning referee details below. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR MINOR REFEREES


  • Age 16 - 17
  • Familiar with the Safe Sport Act of 2017
  • Complete SVNJB registration
  • Upload Profile Picture
  • Set Officiating Availability
  • Submit Referee Contract
  • Submit W9 Tax Form
  • Purchase an NJB Ref Uniform
  • Skip Background Check (Not applicable to Minors)
  • Submit Copy of ID (State or Driver's License)
  • Submit Copy of School ID
  • Submit Copy of Work Permit
